Lawn Fertilization
A beautiful lawn doesn't happen by accident. Our customized fertilization programs give your turf exactly what it needs, season after season.
More Than Just Green Grass
A truly healthy lawn is thick, resilient, and well-fed. Our programs go beyond surface appearance to build strong roots, improve soil health, and create a turf that can withstand Nebraska's heat, drought, and cold. Weed control is incorporated into the fertilization treatments we apply throughout the season — it's part of the program, not an add-on. Whether you need a basic maintenance plan or a full-season program, we'll find the right fit for your lawn and budget.
Our Lawn Care Program
Each treatment is timed for maximum effectiveness based on Nebraska's climate. Together, they give your lawn year-round protection and nutrition.
Early Spring Application
MarchAs your lawn wakes up from winter dormancy, our early spring application delivers a fertilizer treatment to jumpstart green-up and encourage early root development. We also apply a pre-emergent weed control to get ahead of crabgrass and other grassy weeds before they have a chance to germinate.
Step 1: Late Spring Treatment
Mid-April - Mid-MayAs your lawn enters its peak growing season, we apply our spring fertilizer program with sulfur as well as a pre-emergent weed control to prevent grassy weeds from germinating heading into summer.
Grub Control
Applied annually as needed Late May - JuneGrub control is available as a separate application and is not included in any of our standard programs. We keep it separate intentionally — not every lawn needs it, and we believe in only applying chemicals when there is a real need.
If you've had grub damage in the past or are noticing signs of grub activity — dead patches, spongy turf, or increased bird and animal digging — ask us about adding a grub control application. We'll assess your lawn and recommend treatment if it's warranted.
Step 2: Early Summer Application
Mid-May - Late JulyThis application sustains your lawn's momentum with a nutrient-rich fertilizer blend timed to fuel growth before the heat of summer arrives. We apply broadleaf herbicides to target and control more difficult weeds that require additional treatment.
Step 3: Mid-Summer Treatment
Late July - AugustNebraska summers are tough on lawns. Our mid-summer application uses a stress-tolerant program, including sulfur, to maintain color and root depth through the heat and drought conditions that are common in the region.
Step 4: Fall Fertilization
September - OctoberFall is the most critical time to feed cool-season grasses. Our fall program includes iron and sulfur to promote deep root development. We also include a broadleaf herbicide to control existing weeds now while helping to suppress weed pressure heading into the spring of next year.
Step 5: Late Fall Winterizer
November - DecemberOur final application of the season uses a winterizer program to harden your lawn against Nebraska winters. This treatment gives your turf what it needs to survive the cold and emerge healthy next spring.
